No accounts, no cookies, no analytics or ad trackers, and we do not sell your data. Below is a concise summary of what happens when you use the site.
What the site does
downloadsoundcloudlikes.com resolves SoundCloud URLs in your browser. Our server only talks to SoundCloud's API to return metadata and CDN links. Audio downloads go straight from SoundCloud's CDN to your device. We do not store copies of what you download.
What we see
- URLs you submit so we can resolve tracks, playlists, or likes. They may appear briefly in server logs, not in a database.
- Typical server logs (IP, user-agent, path, time) for security and operations, kept short-term.
- A per-IP daily download counter (your IP address plus the number of tracks streamed that day) is retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and rate-limit decisions. No track titles, URLs, or audio are stored alongside it.
- No accounts, email signup,
localStorage, fingerprinting, or third-party marketing pixels.
Third parties
Your browser also contacts SoundCloud (API and CDN) and jsDelivr (for JSZip and browser-id3-writer). Those providers have their own policies. The per-IP counter is stored at Upstash, a managed Redis provider, and auto-expires after 30 days.
Retention and rights
There is no user database. Standard server logs roll off as hosting allows; the per-IP daily counter is retained for up to 30 days and then auto-deleted. If you have a privacy request, use the contact page. We will comply with applicable laws where they apply.
Children, security, changes
The site is not aimed at children under 13. Traffic uses HTTPS. Policy updates change the date above, continued use means you accept the current text.
